Purpose of New Bethel Ministries “The City of Refuge”
New Bethel Ministries is found on Biblical belief of the meaning of Bethel. According to the Book of Genesis, Bethel literally means “The House of God,” which was originally named Luz, was thus named by Jacob. It was there that Jacob, when sleeping on the road after escaping from his brother, Esau, saw a vision of a ladder reaching up into the heavens and angels ascending and descending on it (Genesis 28:11-12). It was during the vision that he was promised that land of Israel for his descendants and he proceeded to make a vow to God; “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going … so that I return to my father’s house in peace, then YHWH shall be may God” (Genesis 28:20-21).
Here at New Bethel Ministries, we are building that same principles that Jacob showed at Bethel after seeing the vision of heavens and angels ascending and descending on a ladder. Through teaching sound doctrines and practical messages, Pastor and 1 Lady Baker have been charged by God in season to bring back old fashion Biblical teaching and with a ready now radical praise to power.

We are established to reach the lost and broken hearted, to minister to them and serve them with greater level of respect and dignity. New Bethel Ministries will serve God’s people in this millennium as God has called us to serve in the beginning of the foundation of the earth.
